Making Tramp Skis

im making duct tape shoes for them. but i need something for the skis themself. i know i cant use wood because if i lad wierd doing a spin ill ruin myself, it will also be awful for my tramp. so. im thinking long, medium density blocks roughly 50"x3"x1" and wrap that in duct tape as a rienforcement, i may also put used d-size batteries on the tip and tail.

anyway, im mostly wondering where i could buy the foam, or if anyone knows of a good substitute i could use.

a)foam will break
b)just use really small skis or waterskis

i doont think so. im planning on wrapping the entire lenth of it with thick duct tape tightly, thereby inhibiting the flex and prventing it from tearing due to friction.

and i realise i may suck, but whatever. ill enjoy it for a bit anyway, and who knows, i may like it.

dude i had the same idea and was really stoked about making some, ended up making them and got bored after 20 mins. just bounce like normal, its much more fun and when you look back you look like a real tard for trying

i use pool noodles. im probable gonna stick clothes wire thoough them so theyll be more sturdy in the air

why dont you just tape your edges? or simply do tramp with nothing under your foots?

get some skiboards, remove edges, duct tape shoes to them to keep weight down

Nah dude, YOU dont suck ( at least i think) but tramp skiing deffinatly sucks. before you go through the energy of making these, just take your skis on your tramp and bounce for a bit, it wont wreck your tramp but you'll realise how harsh it sucks

mine are cardboard with wire around the outside, fully duct taped, with fiberglass tent rods for ridgidity
