I wanna get either 4frnts or px12's. I already have the px12s, and i lov em. no problems so far. So which one is better. The 4frnts are a lil more at my local shop, but im willing to spend if they are good

nice thing bout the deadbolt is that you can get them in 4-12, 6-14 or 8-16 din settings are for the same pruice. and they come w/ wide brakes. both things that cost more on looks. plus the 816s have vertical toe lockout. how mucha re they at your local store? what model were you lookiong at?

I'm looking at 412 for $170 bucks, and the px12 at 100. i'm rocking thalls with 84mm waist, so i dont need the wide brake, but it would be nice to have.

Well, i can now get the new rossi scratch 120's, dope white paint and widebrake for 180
So its
Deadbolts - WB - 170
Rossis - WB - 180
PX12's - No wider - 100
Do i need a wide brake, i have 07 thalls, which i think the waist is 84,,

everyone here saying that deadbolt are better than "look" probably never skied them. but alot of people skied look and know that they are good binding. get the px without a doubt. and if you can get the old look with the pivot go for it.

ive got a pair of deadbolt 614's on my invaders and i love them to death, not a single problem ever. i cant say that about any pivot binding ive ever owned... while the px's arent pivots i still didnt like mine as much as my deadbolts. the brakes on my px's broke numerous times and it didnt pre-release often, but it did a few times. i'd say deffinatly spring for the deadbolts, you wont be dissapointed.

you can EASILY bend the stock brakes to 84mm. Widebrakes would be overkill

Just as good as any other heel piece that is currently being made.

you can just bend the regular brakes, no need to buy wide ones.

yeah but they are the only ones. And if you have not gotten the message, you don't need wide breaks. I have skinny breaks on a 88mm.

I like my older Rossi bindings...and I also like my deadbolts. If the Px12s are really 70 bucks cheaper just do that, obviously. I mean the px12s won't be a terrible choice, and you can pay for your mount and a few tunes or something with the money you save.

im actually going to have to dissagree on this one. the PX heel blows more than a sperm whale. (blowhole reference).

I am not a fan of deadbolts at all. Nothing new about those bindings. They have been tried under so many different names...just....meh.
The PX isn't the end of the world. It isnt the best, but I like it more.
It is just personal preference, though.
