Hahha, DONT fill it with p-tex. If you want to be ghetto about it, you can fill it with epoxt and a wood plug, or epoxy and sawdust, or even eposy and a golf tee. NOT p-tex.
ok i know you are asking this about my skis, but i can also answer it. i was told at the shop i worked at in mammoth that a ski can be drilled up to 4 times and even as high as 6 withouth affecting the structual integrity. now the guy who told me that is a professional tuner for us ski team. i have double drilled countless pairs of skis, especially if you rip out a binding, i'm not a big fan of heliocoils unless its mandatory. i would rather just remount farther up or back. just me though
anything after 2 mounts is usually considered sketchy. it depends on the screw pattern of the previous mounts and the BSL of the previous mounts. you dont want holes too close together. old holes can be plugged or helicoiled if you want to reuse the holes. helicoils are hit or miss, sometimes they hold up and sometimes they pull out.
do you know anything? ever heard of wood fill? it is what you use to fill in voids in wood (skis are generally made out of wood) you can buy synthetic wood fill at any hardware store or make your own out of sawdust and wood glue or epoxy
