actually they are name black holes because the gravity is so high, no light can escape, making them appear black in color.

black holes is such a primitive name for something so complex in the universe.  I guarantee it has nothing to do with racism you idiot.  high gravity makes sense cause thats what they are and will help people understand more about it just by saying its name.

It didnt say the ONLY reason was because of racism idiot.  If you didnt realize, science is becoming more concrete, terms are being changed, its called evolution of language.  Black hole is not even what it is.  Its not a Hole for one, yes it is black, but thats because its abosorbing light, its not physically black. holy fuck, apparently stating my opinion on matters is now considered hating.  Grow the fuck up.

Why'd you have to go there?

First of all science in general is certainly not becoming more concrete, the more we learn the more questions arise, and the more theories pop up trying to explain those questions. In the last 40 years more theories have been published trying to explain the nature of the universe than there have been since the dawn of man (excluding religion, of course). People have started butting heads against even the most basic foundations of physics. The last thing that is happening would be that its becoming more concrete.

Scientific terms aren't be being changed all the time like you say they are. You just straight pulled that one out of your ass.

And YES BLACK HOLES ARE BLACK. In case you didn't know how colors work, ill explain it to you. Normally when something appears black, it is because it is ABSORBING all wavelengths visable light. In tern when something appears white, it is because it is reflecting all wavelengths of visable light. What a black whole is doing  is exactly the same thing, only on a greater scale.

Ok, you explained the black part, fine.  But its not the same.  You cant grasp a black hole like you can the color black, its completely different.  You cant hold a peice of a black hole in your hand and say its black, it would suck you into its field and you would die instantly.  Something physical on earth that is the color black is not the same as the blackness of a black hole.  Physical things on earth have black injected in them to make them the color black.  They are not naturally black unless it was naturally made by the earth.

Second, you did not explain the "hole" part, so you completely left out an important part of the arguement basically because there is no argument against saying that a black hole is not a hole (people used to think they WERE a hole, so I would say science is getting more concrete i.e.) 

You must be a complete idiot if you do not think that science is becoming more advanced.

Black holes are the color black. Can you touch a shadow? Is a shadow not black because you cant touch it. It is black in the visible spectrum of light. That is our only perception of a black hole. Through the aide of a telescope we are able to see blackness in the form of light waves. So actually "not the same blackness" does not apply. In fact I would go as far as to say that black is black no matter how you perceive it. Thats how black objects are black. The reflect less light. In a black holes case it reflects no light so it is the blackest fucking thing in the universe hence its name. Strike one.

Black injected into it for god sakes bro you don't even know how color works or how light works. Take a physics class and stop posting like you know what you are talking about. Haha the earth just makes some black shit and shoots it out and all other black is not real black. haha.

A black hole could be a hole. It has a double conical shape. Or maybe just one cone. No one knows for sure but some of the best astrophysicists have speculated that it is a hole to another dimension. So strike two it a form of a hole of sorts. Thats why it is called a black hole. Shit falls into a hole.

I saw nothing in his post that said anything about science not becoming more advanced. One thing is for certain if science was becoming more advanced you wouldn't be able to tell because you have no idea what the fuck is going on.

It hole-shapped. And we have no fucking idea what a black hole is.  For all we know it could be a hole is space-time.

1. Science cannot advance unless more information is acquired and considered to be fact by most.  The good thing about science is they are willing to admit mistakes.  There will ALWAYS be questions and not always answers, so that arguement is moot.

oh and darkfranchise, if you think all human knowledge has been gained in the last 30 years you must be a complete fucking idiot.  The first day that Man became concious (10000 years ago), was the first day that human knowledge started gaining.  Ever heard  of the egyptians?  Yes, they built large buildings without the help of cranes.  They had water/sewer systems.  They were very advanced.  Every day that man has been conscious of himself/herself, there is knowledge that is gained.  Yes, some of it is primitive, like creating fire, but every bit of knowledge that was learned then has brought us to this point today.  30 years??? hahaha,  no.  Primitive forms of 'computers' have been around for thousands of years, ever heard of a primitive calculator or a calendar?  those are primitive forms of a computer.

2.Your dump truck argument is stupid.  Until you can physically hold a peice of a black hole in front of you ( you wont ever be able to so forget about it) you cannot conclude what color it is or if it even has a color.  Human eyesight is not complicated enough to see a black hole.  See, its people like you who think that Humans are built to do anything.  The fact is, we are not advanced enough to understand black holes.  So, I dont believe some idiot on a ski site can tell me exactly what color it is.

1. Since when does 90% equal all? Sure 90% in 30 years is a bold claim, but he definitely was not saying all human knowledge was gained in the past 30 years. You need to learn to actually argue the points people are making.

2. A black does not emit light. Our eyes can only detect things that give off light. They are black because, since they don't give off any light, they cannot have a color. Things without any color are black. Black is the absence of color. Got it?

Also, we as humans do have a pretty good grasp of black holes. There are a few lingering questions (singularity and getting relativity to mesh with quantum mechanics), but for the most part we know how black holes act. I'd explain it further, but I'm guessing you have no idea what general relativity is or how it works, and I really don't feel like defending Einstein to some little smart-ass kid.

i'm against racism and everything, but i hate it when black people are super sensitive like that. it's a black hole because there's no light coming from it so the color of it is BLACK! it's not like a bunch of astrophysicists discovered these and said "hey these things suck everything into them....and black people suck....let's call 'em black holes!!".
