If by little shits you mean your own age than yes...reflection upon ones self is a bitch...
Furthermore, I was not passing judgement. I was expressing my very strong opinion that poles are a useless accessory to skiing...albeit when ascending hills, as I had previously stated, which if I may add, was the original intent for using poles.
Also, many will make the argument that you need poles to ski pow/bigmountain/bc. My argument is that you don't. And people with counter that argument by saying that if one doesn't use poles they will ski with poor form. To them I must say that perhaps they will if they try, but some don't.
And P.S I certainly did spend money on poles, and for one reason or another they all broke and gave me skiers thumb. So now, I do not use poles, of course unless I am ascending the mountains...

poles uses:
1. Travel
2. training utensil for balance
use em if you need em for those reasons. Or to remain apart of the tradition that has kept the only sane argument against no poles. Which is not a good one.

This is the best ski movie I have ever seen. Get ready to be blown away. These guys stepped up to a new level not reached before by mankind.

I think probably most no-poles skiers look like shit when actually skiing, poles help with balance, give you a point to turn from, and overall help make turns.
Does anyone actually consider what the no-poles pros ski big mountain?
Pep even uses poles for big mountain.
Poles for life.
I don't mind people doing no-poles, just i know id ski so badly everywhere but the park if i did no-poles
Idea doesn't look revolutionary, either. just a repetitive, pow movie. good, but not worth my money

wow, little ignorant wouldn't you say? I ride mostly with boarders, I used to snowboard but switched back and I still look to snowboarding for motivation and ideas for whats to come. Although I think that in many aspects skiing has surpassed snowboarding recently and it is morphing on its own agenda and no longer following the trends of snowboarding in some respects.

In the PNW I would say it's the oppisite. It's more like 9/10 people ski off piste. And the other person is in the lodge getting hammered.
