Looking to buy new skis

I was wondering what you guys thought about what new pair of skis I should buy.

I've lived in the east coast all my life and I'm looking to move out to ski in the rockies for the winter. I was just wondering what kindof skis you guys would recommend. I want a ski that can perform well in the pow as well as kick ass in the park.

depends were in the rockies u planin to chill, BC's are a safe way to go thoe (if ur thinking of buying 07's)
