I didnt see it but my parents saw Pursuit of Happyness and i guess it was pretty emotional. Some others are Flags of Our Fathers, 16 blocks, and i cant really think of any more...
depends what you want out of it, do you want a movie that makes you think "what if?" after seeing it? or do you want one that brings an unknown (to you) social commentary into perspective? or do you want to explore the human mind?
Donnie Darko (biggest mindfuck in the world)
Waking Life
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Science of Sleep
The Beach
Vanilla Sky
Lucky # Slevin
A Scanner Darkly
Memento
i just saw eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, and while i dont really know what a "deep" movie is, that was pretty stimulating. and kirsten dunst is slutty in it, which is nice.
I just saw the movie Crash posted... no. That movie sucked. It was such a bad movie and everyone is on it's dick because it managed to sneak in every stereotype known to man.
yea that movie sucks, everyone thinks its about racism but its just about how your individual actions effect the lives of complete strangers. the different races interacting just made it easier to tell the story.
