i'll probably be going to a lot of local mountains next season. i don't know, i have just as much love for PNS as anyone, but i'm getting bored there. the park could have been so much better this year. is it everywhere where a park doesn't open till at least noon everyday?

the dude who ran the park last season at mad river was really cool. i can't remember his name, but he was super rad to all of us snot railers when we came down for a comp. it would take something special to get me away from snowtrails though. actually, i would never ski an ohio resort over snowtrails. sorry.

thats understandable i knew about tom and trav being gone. i just saw a lot of laziness and carelessness towards kids who wanted to be in the park. they wouldn't even start grooming the park till 11 or so some days. i don't think they've realized how big newschool skiing is getting at PNS. were starting to overrun any other type of skiing yet they still have their backs turned. i mean what did we have. two comps this year? one sesh? i wouldn't even compete and still it disappoints me. sponsors are more than willing to throw out free schwag for winners.
again i am only saying this to better perfect north slopes. it is and always will be my home away from homes

Sure there are a lot of park riders at PNS, but park skiers aren't where the money is at there. There is an entire hill to groom before the park, and if it doesn't get done that guy who has been skiing there for the past 20 years, has a pass, and spends a ton of money there will get pissed. If they don't groom the park normally it's just like 5 kids that are angry because they have to ski the rest of the hill for an hour. There aren't normally more than 5 locals in the park before 3 anyway.
