what skis and bindings should i get for skiing mainly pow but good enough so if theres bad snow and i dont bring my park skis can ride park... nothing bigger than 180
I like both my Seths and Madens even when the snow is shitty. They're also both fun in the park. And, obviously, they both rip pow. Perhaps a ski like either of those, maybe cloer to the Seth as it is a little more versitile, would be good for you.
Unless you need to be able to spin 7's, go with the Maden, its a great and versatile ski for almost any snow condition. The Seth will be a little easier to throw around in the park, but the difference between the two is minimal. Find an old pair somewhere!
i demoed the seths and loved them. there was even some fresh pow when i did it. they are amazing. i didnt ski them in the park but they seemed like they wouldnt be bad at all
Get the High Society FR 187s for big mountain, with Look bindings..........the FR's are soo sick they rip up everything and just kill the pow , amazing stompability when landing cliffs , The Maidens are awesome but these are even better and not many people have them....
it is really hard for us to tellyou what ski to get what do you want it to feel like? some people will say the Lizzy's are the best pow skis out their and others will say that b-squads are the best but if they switched skis chances are they would despise the other ski.
add on to above, so you get what I am trying to say, both personal preference and skiing style play into this huge. for instance would you rather go session a sweet back country jump or ski this:
