so im wondering, when colleges look at ur high school gpa, do they take like ur english, science, math, global and maybe like another important score and average that for ur high school gpa? or do they include classes like woodworking, art, gym, music, etc etc in with ur high school. im in 10th grade. i'd like responses of people who are getting or are already in college
thanks

They recalculate your gpa with just academic classes.

As much as our guidance counselor rambled at us this year I would think she should have mentioned that. Thats lame. I'm fucked on a truly impressive level.

ACT/SAT scores matter a shit load more than HS GPA. GPA's are so inflated now that it's almost pointless to even ask.

in my experience, and comparing with my friends, gpa's are really important, almost as important as SATs. though, a 2300 is far more preferable than a 97GPA
All times are Eastern (-4)
