Drilling trough glass

do you need a special drill bit to drill trough glass?

why? you'll crack it.

you can do it with a regular bit, spade bit is preferable, but make sure it's really sharp. and don't push, go slowly. and get some baby oil or something and lube it a lot. and you can put a ring of hot glue on either side of the glass where you're drilling, it will help prevent cracking

glass drill bits help alot. always have water dripping on it constantly, and yes, go slow

drill slow and glass cracks very easily so just be very careful

that bong would be absolutly sweet, but brakers are increadably fragle and trying to drill threw that one will most likely crack it, or worse it will explode from the force. I sugest getting a tempered titanium glass bit and wear goggles. Use super gule where you want to drill the hole to add some strength. Make the space covered by the glue larger then the bit, the simply remove the glue when your done

this shit will not work.. i tried this once a week at work for two months, and it works great until it starts to cool down, then it just shatters. actually its more like fucking exploding because its like the whole thing cracking at once.

this is just a theory but try immersing it in water then drilling it with whatever bit seems best.
