me and a buddy are thinking about moving from michigan to work at mt hood for june/july/august
we would most likely be washing dishes and living in govy.
is it worth it to ride the public park for the summer/will you get bored?
is it hard to get to work without a car?
is it hard to get alcohol if your not 21?
anyone else ever done this?

i've never done it, you need a bump, and i've heard nothing about great things about the public park.

Um dont go thurr for the skiing, Its tons of money and the public lane is the gayest thing in the world, but the park is prob some of the best but you can get kicked out if you arent with the camps. Govy is the most ill place ever i got a place thurr and it is sick (during the winter) as far as alcohol under 21 i have some experience in that in the winter it is easier than buying it yourself, i dont know bout tha summer though

public park is sick, you will not get bored
its easy to hitch from govy to t-line, you don't need a car
im sure there are plenty of people that will buy for you
just gotta find a job! (summer pass is $900+)

public park gets boring.. but if you get to know people its always easy to get in with a camp. hitching is easy, might have to stand around for 5 minutes, beer is easy to get, or atleast it was when i was underage. govy is getting gay, rules, people in general. its still fun to go down there, i guess the more people in town the more fun

It tha truff . Govys def getting gayer each year, so if you gonna role in govy keep it fresh. get a job with one of the reps for any freestye skiing company Soloman, theyll have to peep your skiing technik but if you get in you ski all day and work for like 4 hours changing bindings

i already applied to work there a month ago but im super bummed, i cant cause i broke my femur and got some hardware put in my leg too. there go my plans for summer. i know a girl who worked there last summer and this summer she plans on working there again. i went and visitied her and it seemed like she had a pretty good setup. i wish i could work there so bad but im too gimped out, it sucks so bad. oh well maybe next year. in the meantime you should definitely try as hard as you can to get that job cause i seriously doubt youll regret it
