Replying to Tell me a little bit about binding release
so... fks 120's. sick bindings, best i've ever ridden. i don't really need a higher din, i was just wondering... on the 155's and 185's, the toe doesn't release upwards. now, explain to me... what is the mechanism of falling that would cause your toe to release upwards? i was just thinking about it today, and it didn't make much sense. you'd have to be wayy backseat... but usually your ski flexes enough to accomodate... or... heck, i don't know. why or why isn't it an advantage to have a binding the releases upwards (or doesn't, for that matter)?
