Hey
I'm 13 yrs. old, about 5 feet tall and probably about 85 or 90 lbs.
This is the first season I've done freestyle and park, but I'm pretty good. I can grind rails, do 360's and 540's, ride switch, do tricks from switch, get huge air, and get some various grabs in (cross iron, mute, etc)
I bought some mediocre skis in November. They were 137cm (at the time, they went up to about my forehead). I don't know what brand or any details. They served me well this season, but I've grown a lot this winter, and now they go to the very bottom of my chin. They are really short, so its hard to get a lot of speed for big jumps and stuff.
So... the big question. What skis to buy? I think I would want ones that are about 154cm (for this season and the next) or maybe 159cm (for next season). 159cm would be okay for next season as long as I grow about 2 or 3 inches, and I think I will.
I was thinking of getting either: K2 Fujatives, Line Invaders, K2 Public Enemies, Armada T-Halls (though they may be too big), or Line 1260s.
What do you think? Are any of those good for park, jumps, and maybe some normal skiing (but mostly jumps and park)?
Thanks
theVM
