whats up everyone..this is really weird for me but here we go......im a pro skier now....wow that was easier than i thought.....its funny....mike nick did it....mike wilson did it...why cant i do it....well ive decided to do it but with much more vengence for skiboarding than seen from pro skiboarders in the past.....but theres another thing...i dont like competing....so i dont think i will outside of japan............cool?

What is it to me? you are a claimer, an idiot, and you only came here to stir up shit.  It looks like you are the former member to me, so maybe you should go back and re-read that. And if that is how you write, your lyrics are like every other two-bit wannabe metal crap excuse for a musician. 

Plugging usually involves something positive, where posting up those was more like passing around an embarrassing picture: it's shit, so it makes you look stupid.

and mayb im not considered a pro skier but id put money on it that i ride like one mayb not better but i think i could match ya.

But, dude... the title of your thread is "IMPORTANT NEW SKIBOARDER TURNED SKIER ETHAN MITCHELL!!!" So...yeah it's actually all about you! The only reason you made this thread was to shamless self promote yourself. Now I don't now about the industry you're coming from, but here in the ski industry which has a surplus of talent and sick riding, you can't just do that. Again I don't really know how the industry you're coming from works, but in this one if you really something special, people will find you and posting a thread like this just makes you look pathetic.

Then you come on here and start bragging that you have NEVER skied yet are sponsored and start acting like you can own any skier because you're the shit at ski boarding. You can't just leave one sport and assume that you've got a nice place reserved in another one.

And that's why you've been flamed. It doesn't really have anything to do with ski boarding, it has to do with how much of an asshole you've displayed yourself to be. You can't come to a place like NS, which is full of kids who basically spend their entire lives on the hill, living and loving skiing and start acting like you're so much better than all these kids when you aren't even in the sport.

Look at any of the other skiboarders turned skiers that you've mentioned already. Do think those dudes got online and started announcing their arrival? No man, they went out on the mountain and really got their shit down and became sick skiers. Props to them.

Anyways, you seem pretty convinced that skiboarding is doing ill right now, so why don't you just stick with that?

^ good post... hopefully you guys can see that he's just reflecting negativly on himself... Skiboarding is going through a really good phase right now (as are skiing and snowboarding!) and the relationship that stoked skiboarders have with stoked skiers is always positive... whenever you have someone from either sport that is to self indulgant/young to know better/hungover and pissy/angry at the world and needs to vent somehow/territorial... then thats when the problems occur... dont let one person represent an entire industry... have an open mind to every person you meet until they cross you, skiboards/skis/telemarks/snowboards/snowshoes... its all snow and love

yo buddy. siver cartel isn't even a company anymore. and i watch the world cup thing. none of you hit rails, they were all lame boxes. plus you're doing lame stuff like one footed grinds that have been outplayed long ago in skiing. if you want people to recognize skiboarding, do something original or something that can't be done on skis. the only cool stuff lately is the butters done by those crazy japs

acttully im pretty positive one of my friends is sponsored by siver.......but not in the USA....if you guys like tree runs then grab some boards for a day...dam i love skiboarding in 2 ft powder lol and trees that are a foot away from eachother its sweet man..and a great way to avoid people for whatever reason..skiboards are a great training tool for skiing...its so much easier to do a trick but its alot harder to land...i dont know its funny ive always been an air guy but never placed in a big air contest...and never really had to much interest in rails until last week when i stepped on skis..it just made me want to butter everything...but ive always managed to place in a rail contest...its like ben wan and i switched identities or something and that kid can rip on rails and boxes.....personally id rather jump off a roof or something on skiboards...

i dont know its all up in the air and im very suprised this thread lasted this long...

im pretty sure that jap is shinji osada..who is at the jon olsson invitational...he has such a skier styler when he skiboards...its crazy the guy does tail presses and nose presses on skiboards....

shinji is the king of skiboarding....he wins alot and im not positive but im pretty sure he wins alot in skiing....

hes at comps like the WSI in whistler...

hmm i dont think it matters if siver is still selling in stores in the USA...and im not positive if they still sell siver in japan because i havent been there in 3 years..but im going this summer to train so mayb ill fill you guys in..

Plus... you post the lamest vids,  claiming them... dude, the world whatever of skiboarding consists of a 10 foot jump you built, a bunch of guys sliding downhill backwards like they are waiting for something, and a rail jam with no rails?  A mini flat box and mini trap isn't exactly up to par with the skiing world, in case you didn't know. What does that tell you about your sport?

yes its easier to land and relaxed while doing a 360 or screamin sea-men or something on skis..........
