Spin faster.

anybody on here got any good tips on spinning faster? i can get 1's pretty good, i would like to progress further. thanks for your help.

freestyle running like doing 5s off picnic tables and stuff would probably get you to spin faster.

its not hard to spin fast just practice a lil i can do 720 on feet and 360 but no jumps so you can do it

I kinda have this problem too.. cept I get lazy and don't spot my landing... so I usually come up short on 3's.

dont huck, look over your shoulder instead. if you wanna spin faster "reach" with your head over more

^ya i find that when i throw my arms it throws me off balance more than anything. you want to keep your shoulders and head going for your rotation and letting your feet follow. think of it as the opposite of actual skiing because you are using your upper body instead of your lower body.

Practicing on the ground and off of things like picnic tables is your best bet. Experiment with things, starting as a freshman, and still today, i spin out of the stairs every time i go down them.

Holy shit, you can do a 720 on flat ground? Most I can do from a standstill jump is 540.

spin more with your shoulders and torso than your arms. alot of people when they start spins go for the big arm wind-up. keep your arms below your shoulders and you will always spin quicker.

also if your having trouble getting 3's try spinning the other side... same thing happened to me, i always attempted them spinning to my left never got them. tried one to my right got it first time easy

also spotting your landing will get you there, if your head and shoulders are facing the landing your legs will come round

do what everyone does, take a day and get the hell beaten out of you. Just try 3's over and over no matter how much you fall and it hurts you will get it.

how does that work? I can 3, 7, 9 etc. on the tramp, but that doesn't really help that much with my ski spins i don't think...
