Replying to How to break 916s- give them to Morrison

crazyfuck:
looking to destroy the toe pieces on your bomb-proof Salomon 916s? give this a try-

"Well yesterday I finally had my chance to do what one of my season goals was. Double front untracked. Over 100 foot cliff with speed. Had the stomp, except the landing was a bit flat, came in on my feet, toe pieces released, one snaped off, leaving the mounting plate behind and bending the other, cracked visor and one broken rib. Side lined for a bit, but still can ski in a few days. Biggest air I have ever done.

I had 916's on. The toe height screw is what holds the binding on to the plate and one snaped and the other was bent. Maybe a steep landing next time, hahaha!" -Seth Morrison, 2/28/07

double front flip, over 100 ft with speed. holy shit. such a hard, flat landing that he broke both of his 916 toe pieces. i think it's safe to say he charges harder than the entire world combined. does he have super powers?
