knee injruies

Hey I have been skiing for the past week, hiking the pipe and park in hood, and i landed flat in the pipe on the first day, really hurting my knee. I skied on it for the rest of the day and for the following 3 days because its been so nice out but when i start skiing on it its not bad, i get used to it but then each night it gets worse and swells, is it ok to keep skiing or what. it hurts to walk around. peace

You should prolly go get an MRI to see if anything got torn, but its up to you

yeh my friend came up short on a rodeo 7 over a 50 foot table and had the same problem. he had to stop skiing that day cuz he had a torn ACL

yeah, i had that. it started as a little rip in one of my tendons, then i over shot a huge table and that was the end of my season, possibly even for the rest of my life. definately go get it checked out.

its probably a torn tendon. My friend got one, and he was exactly the same as you describe. Ok during the day, then swelling at night.

go to check it. Its better loose a day (or a week) of skiing than a whole season. I broke my meniscus in february and had to surgery, and the knee still hurts when I walk a lot. So careful with knees, they´re our life. ;)

don't mess around if it hurts and you have the stightest feeling that something is wrong, GET IT CHECKED OUT! i'm a bump skier i have the worst knees ever...ice it and elevate it a lot too maybe rest a couple days and stay off it

yea i fucked my knee up too...torn patela ligament (PCL) so im done for the summer...stay off that shit an go get it looked at
