whenever someone sees me like in the lodge or w/e and they dont see my ski boots, they think i am a boarder, well they dont say anything, but i know they think that!! and i just wanna be like "NO I DO NOT SNOWBOARD!! I SKI!!" and then say sweet deal, bring the pizzas!!!

People never ask me whether I ski or snowboard. As soon as I tell them I ride over at Bear Mountain they automatically assume I snowboard. I hate that shit.

im not ashamed of skiing at all its just that people assume i go straight down the hill on groomed runs when i ski. They dont understand the whole park concept

Haha, people think I'm a snowmobiler more than they think I'm a skier, especially when in town because they see the full face and instantly think "Snowmobile!". No, skiing trees is scary enough even without the two (out of 6) concussions I've had because of them.

first i say that i ski, then if they say thats gay, then explain how gapers are the only ones on the mountain who hate on the other sport.
then if they dont get it i say that skiing has changed since the last time they went skiing on a family vacation 4 years ago.

yeah i get asked that alot, 2 years ago when i broke my hand i had to explain to the doctor what i did, when i told him i was down and welch(my home mountain) and i was going off this jump, the doctor butts in and says "oh you were snowboarding" so i had to explain to him what freestyle skiing is about and hes like "oh i never knew that".

this one snowboarder said he skiied for the first time and he said it was the easiest thing he has ever done and i was like "FUCK YOU! snowboarding sucks asshole and its boring and i bet u suck ass at snowboarding anyways and fuck you. skiing park is so much better than snowboarding period.

ya i broke my leg this winter and anytime i tell people i did it skiing they are like o u fag u must suck... then when you are explaining to non skiers and snowboarders how you over shot teh landing on a step down tehy just get confused

I don't get the hating on snowboarding, my best buddy who I ride with the most is a boarder. It doesn't matter what size and amount of planks you ride, just as long as you can have a good time shredding.

yeah whenever i tell people i ski, they're like "oh man you should try snowboarding, you can do all kinds of tricks and grind and stuff!"

so i need to explain today's generation of twin-tip skiiers and explain how it is much better than boarding. (not having to sit and work on your bindings before every run, how skis will actually release off your feet if you bail, reducing injury, and so on.)
