lincoln loops

can someone help me out and explain a lincoln, i want to learn them on tramps then hopefully on snow next year.

its a weird method, but what i do is try to turn 90 degrees to the side, then start a front flip. that is what i try to do, and it ends up being a lincoln (this is on a trampoline)

it's a no-handed cartwheel. if u flip to the right (as most of us do) lead with your head and right hand. If you try to reach for a safety grab with ur right hand, it can help you lead your upper body. They are really easy once you get the hang of it.

^yeah barrel roll side flip same difference... but one of the most important parts is making sure your leaning forward... and kinda huck it semi-forward (check out how they do it in the movies cuz thats how) or else when you come aroun you'll be soooo far backseat.

find a point in the horizon, and fix your eyes one it. your center of rotation should be about the top of your head. If u fix your eyes on a poit, you wont get off axis and do a 'side flip'. just look at that point, dont take your eyes off of it, and huck.

Just throw your head to your right probably, since thats how most people do them. Staying straight is kinda hard at first. Just try it a few times, i think i stayed straight after a day. They are mad fun when you throw in the lui kang with a slow ass rotation.

point on the horizon and fix your eveys on it as much as possible. if you flip left grab with your left hand and if you flip right grab with your right hand. safetys and japans look the best, i think lui kangs are ugly but thats just me its up to you.

the method that Snosty and hucksterjibber said is how i learned em. I found once u get the lincon dialed....learning mistys and such comes a lot easier

i actually learned mistys first, then underflips, then lincolns. they all kinda go hand in hand. lincolns actually look best off of a table if you can get the balls up and do it on at least a 40-50 footer so its not hucked. ive never done one on skis but ive seen them and i think they look better on tables as opposed to a cliffs i think. happy hucking.
