what about on rails, and the key to spinning is pushing with ur hips and shoulders and looking over ur leading shoulder

wind up your arms a whole lot it helps make sure the gesture is exagerated so everyone knows that you are gonna spin faster its the way to do it.

It wont look good at all, but wind up a lot, then throw really hard, start with your arms straight out, then bring them in up against yout chest really fast. You can spin a 10 off the ground if you do this, but it looks like shit.

I have been doing some b-ball dunks on my 9 foot rim and I've gotten so I can 540 dunk.... it has helped a lot cause I can now spin 720+ on flat ground.

i think hes sayin cuz the jumps if any are shitty and dont give you much height. and keep your legs wide, wide stance is key to big spins. gives you balance off the lip. bring your legs closer together as your spin faster and itll look like shit initially but style always coems after accomplishment.

my friend snowboarder can spin 10s and 12s (not consistantly) off the ground. He got 2nd in the state for snowboarding

Spinning fast looks like ass. Dont try to be a figure skater, try to have style and smoothness. you will get more props for doign a slow 360 than a hucked 900 from me anyday.

ya the key is your hole body i found that out doing freestyle walking the other day, really push with them hips and dont think just huck... i can now do slow fives on ground its sweet

yeah, unless ur goin huge, like a 1440, make it slow and stylish. do a 900 only off like a 80 footer, unless ur consistant with it and can throw in a smooth grab.

learn 360s on the snow without going off a jump, this helped me to learn to spin faster. I think that it is important to learn to spin fast, b/c then it makes everything so much easier when you slow it down. its just one of the many steps of progression

when im on the tramp, i cant spin more than 360 without fallin over, but when i go cork, i can spin to 720, so goin cork helps me spin faster

not this season but last is aw my friend brandon do a 1080 off of an 8 foot hit...it was insane he was spinning so fast, and he landed it too...there is footage of it, but i dunno where it is cuz he has it...it was crazy...and then i knew this other kid that could spin a 540 skating two times on his skogens...i can barely do a 360 on my 1260's...hmm..i suck

heres a question: which would be better, learning to do tricks by hucking them first and then adding style, or slowly build up focusing on perfecting a 7 before going on to a 9 or 10?
