Selling stuff ideas

This might have already been covered, but i didn't locate any recent threads about it.

- Make it mandatory that the member posts a picture of the item, with his or her NS member name written on a piece of paper next to the item. I've seen this on alot of sites and it helps out ALOT. Mods could always enforce this....

- Require the member to state a price for the item, or at least state a range they are looking for. I'm not big into the "make an offer" thing.

Sorry if they have already been covered.

y make things mandatory? people can sell something however they want to. this isnt ebay.

unless the item is new, i think everybody is going to want some pictures before they buy something anyways; and im sure any serious seller has figured that out already. And for the set price or 'range', i completely agree with you that make an offer gets annoying, but it is really up to the seller.

I guess i figured these would help ensure everyone who browses this forum to buy/sell/trade something would have a smooth and enjoyable experience.

And it seems like alot of people don't know the value of their items, if they do not know a particular value of something or want a simple appraisal of the item, ask in the General ski discussion? Also searching for the item within the parameters of this forum and seeing how much others are selling it for is a good idea.

and whoever said it "isn't ebay" is exactly right. Why not try to make it more like a credible sale area where people can trust each other, i don't see why you aren't in support of having a few stricter rules to support more confident buying and trading.
