Replying to Advice for skis appreciated
i ski at smuggs, vt. i'm about 5'7'' 130. i'm pretty aggressive. i need a ski for this year and definitely next year. durability is an issue since i would like to use them for next season. money may be a small issue, i have about $450 for the skis and bindings. i'll most likely be getting another pair of rossi or look bindings since i have some and i like them. i may get the rossi scratch 120's. i ski a lot of all mountain. i want to be able to carve on the groomers and hold a somewhat decent edge. i would like a ski in the mid 80's to around 90 mm at the waist. i ski a lot of woods and pow when its there so i do a lot of hiking and stuff. i mainly ski wherever i want. i am usually off trail and hiking for my pow out of bounds or something. i am getting into some more park stuff this year. i haven't had any kickers to work with this year yet but i can do 1's and 3's on small stuff. i am alright at rails and boxes. i will probably be doing a lot more park this year since i want to get good at it. i would like something poppy and somewhat light...well, it just can't be heavy. i would like to be able to flex the ski well and be able to do occasional butters. i would say i'm a good skier just not in park terms yet. i obviously can do all of smuggs trails and like to mix it up. so summed up, i ski alot of pow/woods, hike a alot, i want to be able to hold an edge, be able to flex the ski, not really stiff, something fun, durable, something that i can take in the park and not have a hard time whipping my skis around. so any suggestions, i am open to anything.
