How lame are skiboards?

Now lets consider the well known fact that the idea of twintips does come from skiboards manufactured by companies like line and salomon. Personally there is nothing I hate more than seeing some kid on skiboards with no poles, or with poles for that matter. Skiboards take the steeze out of both snowboarding and skiing all together. No skill is needed to skiboard and I trully think it's a waste of time. Nothing kills the flow of things on a hill more than someone on skiboards.

the only good thing about them is being able to stop in powder without turning, just lean back really hard. you will be shitty yourself how funny it is. Its always cool to tell ppl when they ask you what they are and you say, "i left my skis in the washing machine for to long"....

I did it for 2 years before i realized "Wow...this is insanely lame and tard looking". they pretty much stopped my progression all together and now i feel like i wasted 2 years of my skiing life.  they are also extremely dangerous and easy to hurt yourself on, since they don't eject it's so easy to seriously fuck up you're knees.

There is an old guy at my mountain that swears by them.  He is an X racer, and just carves down runs on them, with no poles.  He has good form, and you can tell he is a good skier, he just likes them for some reason.  I will never hate on him, or someone else that are shredding on them like that.

That being said, snowlerblades are a joke.  Everyone I know, even snowboarders get great laughs even seeing someone on those things.  They are the ultimate gayper utensil. 

Other interesting fact:  The first handrail ever published was of snowlerblades.

But yeah, don't use them unless its gayper day or you really really want to.

We all just have to ride what we feel comfortable on. If people can run shit on skiboards all the power to them. Personally, I would be caught dead skiing them.

I remember reading this somewhere and "Riding ski boards is like getting head froma  guy, at first it feels good but when you look down you realise your gay"

i personally don't like them, but if kids on them are havin a good time i don't' rip on them, i just let them do their things cus most of the time they'll switch ova to skiing, but yeah, overall they're kinda lame, besides when they first came out, but after a year that phase was over
