i have 2 questions. the first 1 is kinda stupid but i was wondering exactly what a cab is. i cant figure it out. i was also wondering if any1 knows of some nice urban rails in burlington. thnx.

bhs has the infamous double kink rail...go watch almost any snowboard movie and youll see it, its also in proof now that ithink of it uuh there is a sick on behind the hilton going to the parking garage..uuh a bunch around uvm thats a got a lot of potential...if youre willing to take the chance there is also the underground rails if you do that then yorue fucking good...i dont know dude theres a shitlaod of them

and cab means switch frontside spin,i think. but that doesn't count in skiing 'cos there's no frontside or backside spins.

i thought that there was a cab on skis. my friend sayed that it is when u dont spin at all until you are in the air. u no u kindof stall a little. but he is probobly wrong

a cab on skis(i'm pretty sure) is when you come in switch and do a switch 180. If you look at Jon's cab misty 9's, when he does them well he does a switch 180 the a misty7. so cab is just a switch 180. It originally was a fakie 360 in skateboarding, invented be steve cabellero, and a halfcab was just a fakie 180, but skiing kinda changed that

Yeah, I always thought a cab was when you start fakie and 180 or 540, like in snow/wake boarding, perhaps not.

cab is juist another word for fakie or switch. like a half cab, is a switch 180. a full cab, is a switch 360.
this can also be used for rail tricks. a half cab on rail is just switch onto it. a full cab, or cab 270, is a switch 270.

ya we definetly should. there is also this rail right next 2 the hospital that we could do it is like 15 stairs or so and it is perfect cuz if u for some weird reason try it your are right next 2 the hospital.

in the park an the lake in burlington i think it is called north park, there are some of those long sloping cement rails like the ones in front line. They look realy fun if you have a pair os skis that you can trash

mmh...good goooood rails...just take a walk throught the region and youll find tons of rials there is a church near essex high school thats got a fucking cool ass rail you should check it out...its a long black one out front and an insanely long green one in the back....

thanks u guys i hadnt been into burlington for a while and i just went yesterday and there r a shitload of rails just waiting 2 be slid. i think i will film my rollerblader friend sliding thiem this summer and then this winter have my friend film me sliding them(cuz he cant do anything on his board)
