Go to a core shop, and only a core shop. All the other places only sell old man skis. They have no idea what a twin tip even is.

i work for backcountry. im not an old man and more than half the people who work here are pretty young.
As for the kid about fujatives, fujatives float decent in pow, there a good all around mountain ski if your looking to shred some pow to. Some people may not be experts in twin tips, as im sure i have no idea what im talking about with snow shoeing, rock climbing, or stuff like that. Were trying to help and whoever it was made a decent response. if you need help ask to someone who knows a ton about twin tips next time

YO, I'm one of those people, and I'm pretty sure I know a sufficient amount about skis. There are soooooo many products to know about working there. Everyone that works there has their area of expertise. Not all of them are ski geniuses.

Oh, and if you know that Fujatives aren't a good powder ski, then I'm sure you know what is a good powder ski, and don't really need all that much help finding one. And Normally people on there give so little insight to what they need, it's like "I need a pair of twintip powder trick skis." We're not gonna put someone who we obviously know is a gaper on AK Enemies or Pontoons or something. A very small percentage of the people we talk to are "core". And I can tell you that the average age of the LiveHelp people is probably about 25. It's such a sick company. They care so much about the customers, and have amazing customer service and return policy, etc. If you have a question about skis, ask to talk to someone who knows the most about skis, and they'll transfer you.

^ Many places wont ship oakely outside of their country (not their choice, international trade barrier - same with burton)
I've had no issues with BC.com..I ship stuff from there to Australia and the stuff is always on my doorstep within a week.

Hey dudes, I work for Backcountry.com as well. If you have a certain question about a certain item on the website, you can always ask to speak with someone who is an expert on that area of gear. I mean honestly, how many of you would walk into your local "core" shop and go to the snowboard section and start asking them about a good powder ski. Most of them would also probably tell you the fujative. If you want answers about ski gear, ask for a skier, if you want answers about climbing stuff, ask for a climber and they will gladly transfer your call. I mean, with the amount of gear that Backcountry.com sells, you cannot expect everyone there to be an expert about everything. If I asked any one of you what type of crampon comes with an antiplate on it, most of you wouldn't know what I was talking about. But if I asked you what a great pipe specific ski was, most of you would have a fairly descent answer for me. It is true to say that most of the gear experts at Backcountry.com do know their way fairly well around all types of gear, but if you have a fairly technical question, ask for an expert in the said field of gear.
