Would it me possable to make a hat but make it thinner so i could wear it under a helmat. Ill try get a pic up to explain it better

i string, with the thinnest string you can get,probably redheart, and use a bigger hook maybe

Redheart sport yarn (thinner than regular), single crouchet, and small hook. That's your best bet.
