Strech Crowbar lens

i was wondering if anyone know if the lenses for the white and blue one (its the one with the old school oakley logo in blue) are mirrod or slightly mirroredd or wat ever (its not the one with the yellow lenses but the other one)

VR28, no not really, and hi yellow is good for blizzard conditions. I believe VR28 and Persimmon are the cheapest lenses because they aren't mirrored. Just buy some normal crowbars without the "OMG oldschool oakley!" logo on the strap in black iridium or fire.

No, but based on reading several threads of kids wanting the stretch crowbars for just the oldschool strap I came to that conclusion. Besides, normal crowbars fit fine unless you've got pancake face.

Guys the "stretch" is the name of the line it's not actually a bigger goggle. haha there's stretch t-shirts too you think those are for fat people?

yea "stretch" is just the name, it has nothing to do with the size. There is however a asian fit sizing

theyre hi intensity lenses, which means it makes things brighter for night skiing and such

they're jsut the same thing with differnt colors and designs. So people will buy it for the old school oakley logo cause thats the only difference between the stretch and the regular. different colors and different name will make people buy it so they feel superior. Its a great marketing strategy, put something out, and then put something else thats the same thing but a little better and then charge more for it.

yeah they're the same price as the regular ones, so its basically just another example of picking what color goggles you want, and everyone has to make that decision when they buy goggles. it's not like you're paying a premium for it.

Also, having owned the high intensity yellow lenses - if you're on the east coast, it's pretty much the best way to go. I'd really like mirrored lenses - i mean, they do look cool - but the amount of bluebird days over hear is so small it's not worth it. The hi-intens lenses really do help make it easier to see in flat light.
