Fuck you.
Just saw the premiere. Just talked to CR about it in person. Anyone that doesn't find that rehab stuff inspirational has never been on a hospital bed and had a doctor tell you you might not ski again. It's more discouraging then you can imagine. So to all the little kids on here who hated on S & P because it wasn't segmented, and got sick of the talking, narrating, and CR's dad watching his son very nearly die or become a vegetable, fuck you.
Plus Tanner, Kye, Seth, and Vanular all fucking KILLED it.

Buy show and prove to see Seth ski, and then secretly enjoy Tanners parts. Tanner is an amazing skier, but tell the shop you're buying it just for Seth.

Yeah, but in my opinion, the editing interfered with the content. It just didnt flow well...
I dunno, I just watched TBC, I might just be in one of those moods where I discount every other ski movie because of the greatness of TBC.

^ TBC was good i dont kno if i would say great, although Tanner's segment in TBC may be one of my fav and best overall segments I've ever seen just because of the emotional aspect of it with his injury. No other segment has ever made me love skiing more then Tanner's FULL segment in TBC. Shit's powerful.

definitely a sick movie its just that when i paid 20 dollars for a ski movie i was hoping to see more skiing and less rehab and call me ignorant but im just saying, it was for sure inspirational, just not skiing, and everything else was good, just so different from tanner and CRs other movies and i just didnt enjoy it as much. And the parts that i paid to see like sean and vanular were sooooooo short.

your comparison is awful.
if someone tells you that they didn't like the movie United 93, are you going to say "fuck you you would understand if you ever had been in a plane hijacked by terrorists ??"
the movie is not well put together and the intro looks like a 10-minute project in windows movie make.
The skiing is good, but you need more than that to make a good movie.

Listen, I think we can all agree that this movie is different from others, for better or worse it depends on the person. I realize that CR was going through a tough time but I did find a BIT boring at times (no disrespect), other than that I completely enjoyed watching Tanner H and Seth rip it up. To the haters, yes i'll agree with you it was boring ONLY IN THE HOSPITAL, but other than that no one can shred like Tanner H these days so no dissin. To the peeps who liked it yah gotta agree this is a slower movie than most so for ppl to say they don't like it is completely legit. I say go see it cause it's worth your time, slow or not.

there is a difference between not liking the cinematography of a film and hating on the film itself.
If you read with any depth at all, the "fuck you" really goes out to people that made fun of Tanner and CR's dad for crying over his bed, or for Tanner for being emo or some kind of shit.
Even if you didn't like the movie United 93, if you don't respect the idea behind it, then yeah... fuck you.

I respect the idea behind it, it's just that it doesn't make it a good movie because there's message behind it.

To be honest, in my humble opinion, I they could have done the whole CR's injury thing better. It was the editing. I know it was a serious and life changing thing, but the way it was presented was rediculous. Unbelieveable. It felt like a ski movie broken up by a bad drama. The idea behind the movie was great: I cant see how you couldnt film this movie without going over what happened to CR and without that being an essential part of the flick. It was just the presentation that didnt work for me. Nobody is disrespecting the idea at all - it was just bad editing.

After seeing LSS and Skimatic, Show and Prove really isn't my favorite movie of the year. But my respect for CR and tanner went way up and there is a message there that every skier needs to hear.
