Tomorrow, i will be leaving the humid urban environ of atlanta to the rural countryside of Virginia, it is ridiculous how bittersweet it is, leaving behind my childhood, parents etc for something entirely new
so i guess what im wondering is how all the upcoming freshmen like me are dealing with it, i dont think ive been this melancholy in my life

^haha thats funny. And no, not all esteemed colleges were single sex 30 years ago you fucking idiot. My mom went to Upenn, so it obviously wasn't single sex. hampton sydney sounds full of kids that I don't really like at all and don't really have anything intelligent to say other than talk about business and popped collars. My high school was full of these kids, and I personally think popped collars show classlessness. Why do you need to flaunt youre class if you have so much money you can buy polo shirts? It only means that you are insecure and care too much about what people think. I could buy a hundred polos, but why would i. Hampton Sydney does NOT sound like a place I want to go. But hey, you are atlantaski, so it makes perfect sense why you are going there

are you guys serious? In case you haven't noticed, regardless of what you think of Atlantaski, he's smart, well to do, and business savy. He's not going to major in humanities at some Utah state school. He's stated that there's no lack of chicks; but even if there was, he has a girlfriend, so he's not looking to hook up with a different girl every night of the week. Cut the kid some slack.

its an all guys school because its been around for 200 years, i knew that going there and i respect it. Because of the fact its an all guys school it has an intense alumni network and creates a brotherhood that trancends generations. The chances of myself getting an amazing job out of college from an alum are so much higher if i went to a normal state school. Even though everyone is the same type of person basically everyone is chill with each other and is one of the least pretentious places ive ever been.
and no one here pops their collars either, the guys at the state school down the road do though

Girls? In central Virginia? Yeah, I'm sure it'll be easy pickings down there. Just the fact you're IN COLLEGE (doesn't matter where) would get you laid in those parts. You'd probably be able to get a blowjob if you simply told them you graduated high school.
The only thing an all-male school will do is rob you of interaction with women in your prime social years. And when I say women, i mean smart women, not the ones dwelling in central Virginia.
Sorry man, but you're going to be hard pressed to convince anybody that an ALL-MALE LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE, where you'll look just dapper in you little school blazers, is anywhere to meet chicks or enjoy your college experience.

GPA: 2.9-3.6
Thats not all that prestigious.
