I already bought foils, im talkin 05' trips and foils, i got the foils but i still want to know. The dude tht them to me said Salomon has history with twin tips and said the foils could handle anything on the mountain and then said the Trips were relatively new didn't know how they perform because Atomic is known for racing. I hac to say im pleased w/ the foils but again i still want to kno which is better. (Hint: Maybe someone who owns the Trips.)

The foils are one of the lightest, poppiest, and durable skis on the market....They have a proven track record (first in the X-games pipe comp.) and are even a great pow ski. Do yourself a favor though...DO NOT get salomon 912 bindings....THEY WILL KILL YOU!...Other than that though they are a great ski in and out of the park

I said the 912 binding sucks because it pre-releases, ask anybody whose got em and skis park.....the toepeice is shit. Just tryin to help you not break your neck, thats all champ. They make a new Z-10 and z-12 binding that Im told the problem is fixed on....But I cant comment cause I havent used em yet. Foil is a great ski though

why do people get all squeemish when a race company makes twin tips? don't you think that the infinitely deep pool of knowledge they've developed from years of racing could help make a higher performance and more durable twin tip? i'm all for indie ski companies, but at the same time, race companies have the dollars and the r&d to back up a great freestyle ski.

buy SALOMON ! amazing all mountain ski has a great shovel size as well as tail and midsole, so it will perform for you in any conditions if you know how to ski right...atomic freeride is wack

07 trips should be dope for park but not all mountain as they are symetrical like the invaders (no, that doesn't mean the butter zone hooplah), even though that's completely off the topic of the thread. I think you made a good choice with the foils unless you're a particularly big guy.
All times are Eastern (-4)
