Hey guys, my seasons officially over since no out of wack snow seems to be coming. Anyway, how do you guys store your skis? I heard you wax them and don't scrape them. I've been backyard skiing my last sessions, and I was wondering whats the best way to store them.
Thanks

crank down the dins, put a nice thick coat of wax over em, esp try to put wax over the edges, and don't scrape the wax... store em in a dry cool room where the sun won't hit em too much... thats what i do

they are just skis, not babies. Just put em in the garage.

yeah i like the throwin them in the corner of your room approach, maybe waxing them and edging them before, all this keep them out of the sun stuff makes no sense, why should you keep them out of the snow, when you ski on them in the snow most of the time your skiing, the sun doesnt hurt shit

parafin isn't that great... if you can, try to go with a wax with a higher level of fluorocarbon like HF of LF, not para or CH... then ur bases will be solid

put some oil on the edges, and put them in a sealed place, filling it up with nitrogen.

yah, but if you dont store them properly, the bases will probably dry out and fuck up, and the edges can start to lift

just crank down the dins (avoids streatching the spring and causing unwanted realeases next year) then chuck them wherever the fuck

CRANK DOWN!??!?!? NOOOO- RELEASE binding tension. I may have interpreted 'crank down' in the wrong way, but the point is to release tension on bindings, if din goes to 4 release to four....no lower, but certainly not much higher. I put em in a bag, no wax cause you'll have to rewax in the fall anyway. then........proceed to slide under your bed so when you're sleeping you can guard over them...

actually, CH is the best to wax with when storing. LF and HF dries out your base, plus, you dont really need any sort of flouro for jibbing anyways. unless you want to be a few hundredths of a second faster in the slopestyle...

crank down... release tension... same thing... Some bindings have little 0's past the lowest number, you should lower your dins to that point unless there is none and in that case, the lowest number possible. And on the topic of waxing with LF and HF ( what the fuck HF costs like 70$ cdn. for a small ass box) is super stupid for storage, just use CH.
