I don't need to see him in concert to tell. I'm a drummer myself, and he's one of those guys who you can just tell is a good drummer. He actually taught Steve Jocz, the drummer from Sum 41 a little bit.

ya hepcat that is true. I tend to beleve that I have nice tast in ska too. sweet. I've been into ska for longer than any other music style.

since this thread is of the subject, did you know that FIF is braking up? they planned it in like a year after one more touer. they said that god has told them too. they are a great band and there religius views are tolarable however as you can see, get in the way.

I'll probably get shit for this considering how many people like them in all but I don't think that Catch 22 is all that special. alsmost all their songs sound the same since their first CD. I still like them and all.

they are a great band. you can listen to like 4 of their songs on www.mp3.com/facefirst and you can buy their music at www.interpunk.com. they are kind of sound like FIF and LTJ mixed or something. anyway you really really should check them out!

Yeah, Filibuster is there name. And about Catch 22, i agree with you. When you think about it, it's really hard to make original ska-punk music. A lot of LTJ's songs sound very similar, as does Reel Big Fish. That's kind of why i like ska-core a little more than ska-punk.

Ska Concerts are crazy too.
Every one i've been to (Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Five Iron Frenzy on a lesser extent) have gone completley off. Everyone is so pumped and it's non stop action

Yeah - I saw the MAd Caddies last night for the second time - AWESOME show (Rise Against and The Lawrence Arms supporting too) - most I've danced non-stop for sure. Bosstones rule live too, though I'm not a huge fan of their records.
