how is the pass right now can you still go up and ski off the road or is there no snow. I'm not that concerned about the ski area but the pass itself are there still some good spots to build airs I live in MN and want ti drive out on the 14th is that a bad idea???
im in red lodge right now man, we just got here...it was quite a drive. We stopped at the mountain where the skiing is, it was closed when we looked at it but theres a park up, from a couple hundred yards away it looked like they had a few rails up and a 25ish kicker. We are skiing it tomorrow... ill post tomorrow night and let you know how it is.
well we went today. Apparenly they've been having a lot of meltage and haven't been able to get the cat to the park. They had one probably 10 foot/20 foot option kicker...but the bigger kicker is really sketchy. Theres a rollercoaster rail, a few flat boxes and a flat rail. When we got there the guy said he's sorry that they havent been able to maintain the park, but he said to feel free to grab a shovel and build/shape anything thats in the park...so it's pretty chill there. Besides the park everything else is really fun, theres some incredible steeps and the snow is nice and soft. Definitely go for a day if you have the chance. I took some pictures but i forgot my camera cable so i won't have pictures for a couple days.
i just got back from there today. it was nice. snow is still pretty good. they still have a small and bigger hit jump, pretty nice, i only went on the small one but it was nice. i think they are now closing on tuesday. i would go if you were close to there.
