Replying to Summer project, building skis, looking for someone else to go into it with...

CTD:
alright everyone. let me first say, that im not new to construction of composite stuff like skis. ive built quite a few longboards, and while less complex, its a similar method of construction.

anyway, ive been looking into building my own skis for a few years now. over that time, ive gained a good amount of knowledge of the various construction processes, etc, and definatly feel im cappable of producing some pretty decent stuff. plus, since im so damn picky about my geometry and flexes, this would allow me to dial in a few sets of sticks that are built strictly for ME.

anyway, im not gonna sit and ramble on and on. ill get to the point. im looking for one or two people to kinda go into this project with me. we arent talking starting an indie company or anything, just building ourselves some custom skis or snowboards. this shouldnt be a particulary expensive project, maybe a 3-400 for initial cost of building presses, profiler tables, etc. lookin at somewhere around 70-150 per set of skis or snowboard built. anyway, id like to team up with someone fairly local (ill be spending the summer in chagrin Falls ohio), and has some spare cash to drop into a project like this. being knowledgable of how a ski works is definatly prefered. im very serious about this, and dont want to dick around with some kid who is gonna back out when the time comes to actually go for it. but ya. any body interested? hit me up here or on AIM, EastCoastStyle05
