What kind of graduation? If you want juniors, and you are graduating from like elementary school (5th Grade), I would say that's unreasonable. If you are graduating from hs, that could be more reasonable, although it really depends on your family.

what IS reasonable anyways? its a very subjective thing, only you know whether your parents consider that a reasonable request. and if its their money then thats what matters.

slug it out at a public high school for 4 years and get a scholarship, then ask for plane tickets to New Zealand for graduation.

skis are pretty reasonable pricewise for a graduation gift. The thing is that usually graduation gifts are something that you'll use for more than just fun. For example laptop, car (for getting to work or school), dorm stuff. I think its a pretty sweet idea though if you don't mind waiting a few months with skis and no snow.

if u asked for skis for graduation thats definately fair for you and your parents, most kids get computers, and the skis cant be to much more expensive then a computer.

I got a new guitar for graduation, which was pretty expensive.

But my sister got a fucking car. Which was bullshit. But I don't care, I'm better at guitar than she is at driving.

No way. In total I got about $1,600 for graduation and my family is by no means rich. SO yeah skis aren't too expensive.

well, i asked for (and got) new boots and goggles, though i shopped around to find sick deals, and save my parents some money. If you do this and find them the best deal, you are more likely to get what you want as it shows you really want it, and are saving your parents time and money.
