i have a regular trampoline 14 by 14 circle. and my friends are giving theirs away. if we take their springs and drill new holes in the metal edges to put more springs on, would that make the trampoline have more bounce?
more springs does not equal more pressure/loft. More resistant springs, or stiffer springs for this matter, do. Buy stiffer springs and replace them. I highly doubt its possible, but if you can, cross the new stiff springs.
i dont get how you cross your springs, thats fucking impossible. ive had my tramp for like 5 years and we just recently took it apart and reassembled it and it was so damn hard to set it up again. its pretty much impossible to cross them. you need heavy machinery to do that
just take two springs that are next to each other, and cross them.. you gotta pull kinda hard, but it only takes like 20 minutes to do all of them, its good to extend the life of your trampoline when you start hitting the ground and stuff.
heres how you cross the springs, set up the spring like your going to hook it up, but instead of pulling it with your hand, get a 2nd spring and hook it to the 1st one and pull it like that so it looks like this -000000--000000- This makes it much easier.!
my tramp sucks dick, the welding is spliting where the top of the legs meet the circle bar. and now i cant jump on it. how do i fix it?? i dont want to buy a new one cuz i hear they dont sell the ones with springs anymore
I crossed my springs like \/\/\/\/\/\/ skipping every other hole. Works great. went from back 3's to back 5's like nothing. Also, get the tramp wet man it snaps u in the air like a mofo. If your springs r old and a bit loose, you'll hafta try putting the springs XXXXXX not skipping any holes that'd be a hell of a lot easier to do than my way. Fuckin kills to pull all the springs so dam far otherwise
