Tail height!

What is a good tail height to know that your not going to dig a tail in going fakie? mine are at around 1/2 inch or so!

1/2 inch should be plenty, almost any ski with even a bit of lift can be skiied on switch and land switch. i mean, a lot of skis are starting to have twin tips, granted, they aren't true twins, but they will still work.

not very many twin tips have the same tip and tail height. only some of line's, i think.

my seth pistols have equal heights on both ends (from the looks of it at least) and it doesnt affect anything...they ride like a dream going switch

it's because you don't need a true twin, i mean only those who are truely hardcore could possible use the true twin to there advantage, for everyone else twins help you complete your turns and give you extra mobility on the snow

I just have full loop skis that i got brad holems to test in freeze, seems to work, and i can do guine pig wheel jubs...

mad trix have equal tip and tail, as well as most lines. i think equal or close to it is the way to go.

Concepts work great for me. I could land switch fien on my old skis with no tail height, I would only dig in taking off fakie.

i think my lines have more tip in back than in front. i swear it. even though i'm probably wrong, but it looks like it...but i dont have depth perception so dont take my word for it. god.

definetly don't need a lot of tail height. the main thing it does is let you go faster. the mad trix don't have equal height. one's higher for big mountain and the other is smaller

Wrong. What you said is the exact opposite of the truth. A flat-tailed ski turns better. The reason that the G3, bandits, etc have a slight twin is because it floats better when you're leaning a little back in powder. Instead of digging into the snow, the twin allows it to float better.
