Are there any skiers who do them? I've heard Mike Wilson can do double cork 7. Can he do anything else like 10? I know snowboarders do them. I think it was Travis Rice that did double cork 10 over chads.

I've been thinking about them latley and really wanna try it but I think I'll wait to try it on water ramps first so I dont break my neck. I've never acctually seen a video of it either but I can imagine what i would be like.

Are there any other skiiers who do them?

check out TBC, mike wilson does it over a pipe. I think he called it a wilson flip. It looks like something out of a video game.

double cork 1080 would be 2 cork 5s in the same jump. As the first one is finishing and you're facing uphill you would fall back into the second one. I'm pretty sure thats what it is. It seems imposible when you first hear it but if you think about it it makes total sense

Yeah. It's significantly different from a regular Cork 1080, because the cork isn't drawn out over all 1080 degrees, it's corked so hard that you do cork 5 and come upright(as if you'd land switch) at the apex of your jump, then continue to rotate(as a regular 1080 would) but corked the other way. It sounds complicated because its. Watch TBC for more details.

He double corks in either the Hit List or Teddy Bear Crisis, I forget which.

But yeah, Double Cork 1080 is NOT the Wilson Flip, double Underflip is.

ye im not sure wat a double cork is but i thinks its that you cork to the left and then you come back regular and cork to the right. you pretty much just change your lean in the cork which sounds pretty hard. But that is not a wilson flip, a wilson flip is 2 underflips.

You don't have to change the direction of your spin. A double cork is when you literally do (for example) a cork 5 and then come back Completly straight up and do another cork 5. It is 2 seprate tricks as opposed to a straight cork 1080, where your rotation does not stop between when you begin and when you have gone 1080 degrees

the wilson flip is NOT a double under flip, and most double corks are really more like double rodeos. And no you don't cork left then right. If you set a spin on a cork 5 and finish at the peak of your air as long as you have it in your head you will do the exact same thing again. its a law of physics.

he corks out the first 5 and then he comes out of it again and he rolls another cork 5 back under again its not that complicated just imagine like coming out of a cork 5 and throwing another one...

Wow a lot of people are retarded on this thread. Mike did a double cork not a double underflip. It's not a fucking WIlson flip. And T Rice did a double cork 10 over Pyramid gap not a double rodeo.

Yeah, but since you are regular at first(corked one way) then you are switch, physically speaking, to continue the cork, you have to cork the other way.

there was way too many "cork"s in there.

i remember seeing footage of wilson doing a double underflip or wilson flip in some competition and he did a double cork in TBC, to clear things up he goes into a cork five comes out normal so now he is on axis in the air facing back towards the lip, keeps rotatin, rolls cork spots the landing and comes out.

He wasn't saying change direction of your spin. He was saying you would be corking it super hard on the first cork5, so it's corked more behind you to the right if you spin right and then the last cork5 would more corked like normal to the left side, still spinning right...understand? Your angle of your cork and the axis on whitch it is corked is what normally sperates a unique style from a copied.

right, because if you do a underflip, you have to do a frontflip 180 to get back right, you cvan't actually do 2 underflips in a row.

yeah, it's just basic physics that when you are doing under5 or d5, it ends up in a backflippy rotation, mostly cause you would set them in real hard to get a second flip around, which in turn if your facing uphill in the air and doing that same rotation would turn into a frontflippy or misty rotation...
