reason is a 1500$ program
i have it though..... and its pretty good. if you wanna get into producing you should get reason, cubase, innuendo and a couple other ones, ill look when i get home.

Yhea, I once tried one of those programs, it would take me ages to understand them hahaha...

Fruity Loops seems good...

Fruity Loops is a good starter one. If you are recording singing and stuff, then I would use Fruity Loops, Soundforge, and Cakewalk. Move on to Reason when you are ready.
