Swapping bindings back and forth

I know about the mounting logistics and skis and how you shouldnt do it more than X amount of times but I have a question...
Is there any danger/disadvantage to changing a pair of bindings from one ski to another as long as I dont strip out the holes and use wood glue or epoxy after every time I screw them in? no drilling new holes just screwing and unscrewing screws. This probably wouldn't happen often but say I wanted to ski my urban skis but I dont want to buy another set of bindings...

I don't see a problem with screwing / unscrewing. I've done it a bunch minus the epoxy / wood glue and its fine for me. I only weigh like 150 tho so i don't think i'd b ripping any bindings out of skis any time soon.

Its not a very good idea in the long run, makes the core alot weaker because the screw isnt grabbing the same threads everytime. If you want to use the same bindings on multiple skis get the railflex system or use demos and just get multiple plates.

interested in that technology... just not the bindings sorry. When they get more durable and reliable I will get them... weight isn't an issue, until then I will rock rossi/look and or salomon...

Wouldn't the shop have to drill into the 2nd pair of skis perfectly so there is no forward pressure adjustment needed? Unless it doesn't really matter and you can do it yourself. I don't know how accurate the mounting process is but after they drill wouldn't they have to fine tweak the forward pressure, so therefore everytime you'd switch back and forth you'd have to make the same adjustments?

each time you screw the screws in and out the binding would be a little less secure to the ski and the screws wouldnt have as much to bite into each time you changed them.
That is unless you sink come eyelets like on line skis or snowboardes do and then just use a diferent type of screw..most shops can do this for you if you are not very confident of yourself.

I center mounted my urban skis myself... and I do all my forward pressure/dins/toewing adjustments myself anyways to make sure they stay right... its not that big of a deal, dont worry about the adjustment, will it cause the screws to pull out is all I need to know

didn't see your reply... thats a good idea sinking those fittings in and then using machine screws...
Ive already changed bindings once but I re-glued. I will probably not change back and forth, just trying to scrounge up some cash by selling un-needed bindings here on campus and possibly keeping the urban skis just in case...
