So I considered what Jo Roe said about people being bacteria. Makes sense, we all started from like cyano bacteria? wayy back in the beginning of time. Bacteria adapts and overcomes anti-biotics through natural selection, much like how we evolve. So if white blood cells conquer bacteria...what is the human race's white blood cell? I mean how will we end? Our population is getting out of control, theres only so many forests we can cut down, gas is suppose to be gone around 2050ish, biology technology is only getting better, people are living longer, nano technology is developing, our understanding of the brain is so intense... hands free equipment may be developed... aka you control shit with your mind, biological, chemical, and nuclear warfare seems inevitable if we have to fuck with every third world country, China owns our economy, North Korea is not part of the nuclear arms pact ( i think). I'm sick of being part of this fucked up, corupt system of government that tools us around and was based on such corupt forefathers and slavery. I'm not taking the emo perception of life as a rat race, I'm just saying what the fuck does this all add up to? You work so hard to achieve what seems like so little and then before you have time to learn what really is right you just fucking die. What if I dont figure shit out until I'm 50? Hows that make things enjoyable. What the fuck is going to wipe out the human race so we can start over?

Maybe I'm just hooked up on adderol, maybe its 545AM, maybe im stressed from getting drunk and not sleeping last nite, maybe Im stressed from this 8am psych test, maybe im pissed off at the world, but i need some answers. ANYONE CARE TO ENLIGHTEN ME?

Ok. In math my teacher said that .999 repeating = 1 (dont ask me how, but it does). So apply that same principle to the world. The universe is infinate, it goes on FOREVER and NEVER STOPS. So now think of an infinate universe and think of earth, no, go smaller, think of a human, or go even smaller and think of an atom. Compare infinate space to a fucking atom, which is so small that we need $087238572 microscopes to see them. For all we know, the whole universe (which we believe to be infinate) could be something as small as an atom to a HUUUUGE universe and so on and so on. It can also go the other way. The things that we believe to be the building block of like, the smallest unit of matter possible -the atom- is an infinate universe to something so small that we cannot comprehend and definitley not ever see. So your right. Why the fuck do we have to go to school, get a job, make money, raise a family, etc., etc., when all we are is a tiny little glitch in time. Time really is infinate, so what are we? Nothing.

Well thats my rant on life. Hope you enjoy...

1. Time never really existed in the first place.
2. That's the meaning of life, is to live life itself.
Honestly is it so hard to believe that our purpose on this planet, our very existance, is to grow, raise a family and just enjoy what we have in front of us all the while surviving? To look at the universe being infinite and us being insignificant is just non-sense in most simplistic terms.

Canada should happen soon..but im pretty booked up until after spring break, and thats when kelly and jena claimed to have time to go... so around then?

Bingo. It is pretty grandious of us to think that we're are going to uncover the meaning of life, the purpose of our beings. ..of just BEING.

IF there is something more to everything, I think it would be incredibly detrimental for us to know. We would consume ourselves trying to figure out how we can change and control our purpose. Everyone just needs to relax and deal with the REAL issues that face us, and try to enjoy our very limited time here. MAYBE after we die, then we find out what the purpose is. And i DONT mean finding god.

Johnothan Swift wrote a wonderful piece on how we should eat babies to solve world hunger, fully substanciated with solid premises. Just because something is logical, doesnt mean that its true. actually it equals both if you think about it. b/c 1/9=.1111111 therefore 3/9=.333 and so on, if 8/9=.8888and you add 1/9 to make 9/9 your adding .1111, .111+.888=.999 but it also equals 1 b/c it converges on 1 so it is considered to be 1. if there was an end to it it wouldnt be one.

this is kindof like Existentialism. existentilism with a small 'e' is any question or anything that questions our purpose, lifes meaning, how we got here.. etc. Existentialism with a capital 'E' is a philosophy on life. Existentialists beleive that the world is absurd and that no higher authority should be obeyed. also, you cannot do anything to interfere with another person's life, cuz then ud be a higher authority to them. so if everyone was Existentialist, there would be world peace. just listen to 'imagine' by john lennon to get an idea.

so in english this year (english 20 IB) we looked at the works of a couple existentialists, Franz Kafka and Albert Camus. my teacher called me her existentialist skier, before we studied these works, cuz i told her i dont believe in god (and its a catholic school) after the works, i realized how i am kinda existentialist, and its wierd.

my philisohpy on life... life is meaningless, so you have to give it meaning. no matter what you do with your life, you are gonna die in the end. You have to decide how you want to give your life meaning. for some, it would be to help as many other people as they could. others would say that it is to get married, have a family etc. why should we go to university to get a good job to get rich to get and good wife and support a family, just becasue thats what society expects? why not go do crazy drugs, ski every day, drink, party, live fast die young? if u want to do that, go ahead. im gonna give my life meaning by being happy. for me, that would mean skiing as much as possible, getting a job because i enjoy it, not for the money. raise a family becasue i want to share my love (kind mushy gushy but w/e)becuse i want to be happy. not just cuz thats what society expects

watch the waking life if you haven't. its a decent movie with some decent ideas. by no means am i saying its correct or that it all works, but it was a good springboard to get me interested in philosophy.

also, so if absolute zero represents the complete stasis of molecules that form matter, does the matter really exist? because in order for our senses to perceive matter the molecules are constantly moving, but if you cease all movement, 0degrees Kelvin or -273.15 celcius does the matter cease to be, since it is in essence stopped and thus not matter. i never got an answer to that one.

i could give you all the answers but then id have to kill you

in reality the meaning of life is too stop thinking about the meaning of life and make babies. really thats our only purpose, make more people. of course since we are sentient beings we could opt for a higher purpose, like transcendentalism or space exploration, or even sustainable civilization, but we dont.

my meaning of life is to do, see, and experience as many things as possible before i die. whats yours?
