dozerr:
lib tech should update their web site. now that they are making skis they should have the site talk about how this magne-traction is going to work good with skis rather than just snowboards. their site right now:

SKI GEOMETRIES WORK VERY WELL FOR SKIS.
Ski based snowboard geometries are simple, nice and work acceptably in many conditions. Ski geometries are designed to provide maximum control with one pressure point (your boot) in the middle of the ski

SNOWBOARDERS ARE DIFFERENT THAN SKIERS...
Snowboarders stand sideways. Snowboarders transfer energy into their boards and to the snow through two feet attached to one board. Snowboarders ride a fixed stance width.

MAGNE-TRACTION IS DESIGNED TO GET MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE FROM THESE SNOWBOARD SPECIFIC CONTROL PARAMETERS.

which seems basically to be saying that this is a snowboard specific invention, making me wonder how it actually does work?

but honestly, they look super rad, and i really want some, or at least to try them. what have people heard about the SKIS
