Wrong camera, but same idea. I've got the Digital Rebel + Grip instead of a D30 + Grip. I don't have a camera to take pictures of my camera right now. Anyway, here's basically what mine looks like:

my dad used to be a photographer, and he has a gunstock cam mount like that. Well, not exactly, but same idea. It's for if you have a big lens, but don't want to carry around a tri-pod, the gunstock is more stable to hold. and the trigger fires the shutter

yeh thast nothing my buddy just got a 8000$$ HD camera...and he has the g2 as well, and two more cameras...then has like a g4 mac and one of the best editing softwars u can buy...he owes his parents like 15,000$$ or something
