I know this has been talked about, but I've finally become a believer that I might as well be on a long fat ski in the park. I'm 6'2 190 and ski tahoe, I recently got foils, biggest park ski I've had so far, but it still feels small (i did mount +2, maybe a mistake). I do have a quiver, but having a ski that can literally do everything is so nice, the foil almost does, but it's too short for me, and I could definetly go wider. I think the 188 s gun lab would be perfect (though I couldn't hit rails on it). I almost went with the 185 bc's this season, but reasoned 100 underfoot was too much for my 'park ski'. I've come to decide I made the wrong decision, though i've heard bad things about this year's bc's. seth viscous in 189? more like 193, might be a little too big, but would be great when the snow was good and the park was an after thought. MSP, mo'ships, guns there are a lot of options. I'm sort of kicking myself, as much as I love my foils, I just wish they were bigger. Then again I've only hit 10 or so early season tables and have skied almost entirely big mountain. The foils are almost better than my 4 year old 188 k2 axis xp's in everything, and I'd love to not have to decided between the two as the k2's aren't twins and could be better in pow. Also I love the manueverablitiy of newer skis being designed to ski more centrally mounted. Sorry for the rant, two days of pouring rain in tahoe has got me restless, so restless I almost bought one of those above skis. Hopefully the spatulas will get a chance in a few days.
Anybody ski big fat skis in the park?
