Yeah, I hate myself for making another ipod thread, but I just connected my ipod to my non-mac computer and opened up itunes. now it says "do not disconnect" on my ipod as is does when I connect it to any computer, but it doesnt show up anywhere in itunes. I restarted itunes a couple times and nothing happens so how do I get it to show up, and if I cant, how do I disconnect it without messing things up?
Okay, first of all, there is still a safe way to disconnect it if iTunes doesnt recognize it...but what's more important is that you can get your computer to recognize this iPod. Seach google for something called "Mac Opener." That'll do it for ya.
dude the same thing ha[ppens to me...just chill for like 15-25 seconds,,,it will come up on itunes and will be flashiong as "users ipod" or something of that nature...and yeh nothing happens if u disconnect when it says not too...and if u want to be super cautious, just open up my computer, and go to the drives, and go to "users ipod" or w/e and just right click and select "eject" by doing so u ensure that all information/data on your ipod keeps safe...no worries dude its all good.
