no were not all puss's, but if u lose a lot of speed ur probly not landing right, try to land forward with ur hands out in front, then once ur solid get right back into a tuck or whatever u do to get speed

right, first time hitting a jump, find something small, and make sure there are no rocks or trees or anything else painfull where you are going to land..... after that, hit it and keep your hands in front of you for balance...... watching other ppl helps alot

DO NOT try a d-spin 1080 your first time hitting a jump, what are you crazy? those are pretty hard, try doing a d-spin 720 your first time, THEN you can work your way up. Also when you go to try rails, the longer ones are always easiest, you should find one in your local city too, that way people in the park dont laugh at you either. It also helps for your first rail if it has as many kinks as possible, as kinks help you maintain your speed.

ah...i just call any built jump with the landing straight to the jump a table...stepdown is the true name of the jump being higher...but i wouldnt worry about it

lol... I would be talking shit too, saying shit 'like get out the snowplow', if someone said they were losing speed on a jump :) My bad yall.

But yea, so I think if I was going slower, I might have stalled on that bitch too. I hopped on and got an immediate slow down, so I like shoved my legs forward and jumped off the lip.. But intially when landing on the box, I lost like 40% of my speed. I think it is prolly my edges being sharp and maybe a fresh layer of wax might help, Ive been cheating and using the rup on shit...

no problems...i gave the first idea that came to mind...are you talking about sliding the box like a rail? you may be on your edges too much. maybe try to keep your skis flatter on the box, so its more slide, then...cutting...ya know?
