Now i have heard from 2 somewhat reliable sources that corbetts (ontario) has the 07 fujatives. Can anyone confirm this. I didnt even know they had the ski fully designed and in production. Well help me out if you have any info

MAP for the '07 Fujative is going to be $329.95 and with a wheeled bag and T-Shirt it comes to $399 or $429 something like that.

Those are for sure the 06/07 Fujatives... I saw them in a shop here in Ontario today. As far as tip, waste and tail... they looked like they sized up they exact same as this years. I didn't flex them or anything. The only thing I can say that was really different was the price. This years sell at that shop for $399 (canadian) and the new ones were $549. Like fuck, the PE's were $499, so these are more expensive. Maybe the shop is just being bitches, because there aren't too many around yet... I don't know.


P.S.
For the ontario people... it was Skiis and Biikes in Collingwood that I saw them.

at my store we got them as a restocking pairs and just switched them and the 06 fujatives. so basically, we have only 07 in stock, which we are selling forr 399 canadian.
which store did u see them at?

That was at skiis and biikes in Collingwood. They probably got them as restock too... i couldn't notice any differences other then the topsheet, so i'm thinking that it is an unjustified price hike... aw well, i'm rockin PE's anyway.

that is the 07 fuja and the 07 PE is also being shipped soon...

most of the 07's will be in reps hands by Jan for this upcomming demo/retail season....so simma down little boy, your wrong

Well all I can say is.. when I saw them in the shop, the factory K2 sticker on them said '06. Not 06/07. I still figure that they are next years. Does anyone know what this years sticker said... i'm thinking that it says '05, but I don't know for sure.

How does it work, does K2 set a limit on the number of skis they make? Like why didn't they just make more of the 06's? Or are they capitalizing on the fact that people will want to be the first with this new design?

Man I'd love to sell shit to you guys. K2 slaps a new top sheet on a ski and everyone thinks there 07's shit I gotta get em then!! There 06's with a special edition top sheet was what K2 told me. They might tell people they are 07's because they will sell better. Whatever belive what you want.

Here is an email that I got from Mike Gutt;

Kevin,

The ski is a 06/07 Fujative that we released early because we were
entirely sold out of this year's ski. We built the ski a little
burlier, but the price will still be the same. Some shops may try to charge more right now though, because it is an early release.

What ever dude call me a retard. Our K2 rep showed us a picture of that ski in Novemeber and told us then they would be selling it late December. Like I said if they call it an 07 more guys will buy it so whatever. Just don't belive everything you here in the ski industry. Remember these guys have to come up with a gimic for every ski they make. Calling it a 07 makes sense to me, seems to be getting a lot of intrest on this site because people call it an 07. Just don't be supprised next season when K2 realses the 08 next fucking December. It's bull shit

I'm not sure why you are so worked up about this one, but again, the ski was created along with the other models we will show at SIA.....those being 2006-2007 skis. It was already stated that we sold out of this year's, so we released the new one. Easy buddy, the rep was wrong. It happens, it is no big deal.
