URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RENO NV
155 PM PST SUN NOV 27 2005

...WINTER STORM WILL MOVE INTO THE SIERRA AND WESTERN VALLEYS
OF NEVADA MONDAY...

.A VERY MOIST WINTER STORM WILL MOVE INTO THE SIERRA MAINLY FROM
THE TAHOE BASIN NORTH MONDAY AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY. SNOW
LEVELS WILL BEGIN BELOW 6000 FEET BUT WILL GRADUALLY RISE MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY TO 7000 FEET TO 8000 FEET. THE WESTERN VALLEYS
OF NEVADA WILL SEE A PERIOD OF SNOW MONDAY BEFORE THE SNOW ENDS OR
CHANGES TO RAIN. SOME PATCHY FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE MONDAY
AFTERNOON IN SOME OF THE COOLER VALLEY LOCATIONS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM MONDAY TO 7 AM PST
TUESDAY.

SNOW WILL BEGIN IN THE TAHOE BASIN EARLY MONDAY. SNOW LEVELS WILL
RISE TO ABOVE LAKE LEVEL MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY BUT HEAVY SNOW
WILL CONTINUE ABOVE 7000 FEET. EXPECT 4 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW AT
LAKE LEVEL BEFORE SNOW LEVELS RISE MONDAY NIGHT. ABOVE 7000 FEET
EXPECT A FOOT OR 2 OF SNOW THROUGH TUESDAY.

skiing with you guys, everyone is welcome to stay at my place obviosly but Fri night my girl is coming over so st and sun would be better for me, I have to work sat morning but im gonna try to get out of it and i have a term paper so if you stay i demand you all help. So 2 people in the closet, 3 on the floor and 1 in the bed makes for a party if you ask me.

I'll believe it when I see it.

only 3 inches last night..
4 or 5inches today ands thats being generous..

the snow might be falling as forecasted but the wind is stripping everything. not many drifts at the summit and alot of areas have be scoured down to dirt and rock.

but hey..atleast its not rain like this time last year and we are able to make snow.
