Yeah, skiing motion, powder, and a few other sources say it's a 720 D-spin to straight back. But qubec has a pretty good case that thats not what it really is, but I dunno.

yeah, the skiingmotion.com video is excellent, it's such a weird trick though, I still fully can't understand it, it's like all twisted and mental, would be pretty sick to do one though.

on skiing motion, when you look at the guy, you can see that he is inverted after the first 180....so, iy is not a d-spin..

d-spin 360? so u do a d-spin 7, then do a front flip, which subtracts that backflip, which adds that 360 to the corked 3, so ur left with a d-spin 3, right?

heres how the skier describes it:
There are actually two tricks in one here. First, knowing how to do d-spins is helpful, and second, you need to know how to do backflips. The first part of the trick is like a d-spin. I come off the lip and throw back under my left armpit (depending on which way you spin). If you set it right, the the first part of the trick will come around. Look for your landing and put your feet down. To add the back flip, come off the lip and throw it a little harder. When you come around for your landing, you should feel like you're in the backseat. Throw your head back and go with it, looking for your landing. When your landing comes into view, whip your legs around and put your feet down.

Ok, when Rick Wroboleski does his risky flip, you can cleary see that he is doing a backward loop 360 (kind of underflip-dspin thingy)after that, he does a straight back.

He does not do a 'real' d-spin cause he does not do a cork 360 then a back flip... he does the two in one...

If it was really a D-spin 720 to backflip, it would be a cork 360 to double backflip...

no, quebec, i don't think itis a d-spin either but its not a loop 360 to back flip. it is a strait backflip 360 (back-full) to bacflip. he just is so tucked up that it looks corked and more off axis then it really is.

seriously though, nobody can huck them big enough to rotate them slow and with style. They are crzy insane and i think they are a D-spin to back.
The best clip on skiing motion is the corked 1080, so clean and it actually looks like a corkscrew spining

A risky flip, as it is done in 'the Trip', is a Back half to Barani. It has been done a million times by inverted aerialists all over the world. It's definitely not, in anyway, 'Newschool'.

A risky flip is simply a full twisting backflip to a backflip, aka, 'full in, tuck out,' or even a 'full tuck' if you want to go for hard core aerials lingo.

The video of the one on Skiingmotion.com is a Back Full to Back Flip, but look at the sequence in powder, that one is obviously a D-spin to Backflip

different styles make the trick look different, but when you get down to it, it is a d spin 7 to back flip. who really cares about taking it apart and evaluating it. It is a sick trick and we should leave it at that. I wouldn't doubt if a risky flip wins th freeskiing open big air.

The early comments are interesting. I don't think we'd call that a d spin 7 to backie these days, the second flip starts before 720. The concept of a double cork/flip seemed like a few years away in 2001 even though they existed
